Privacy policy
PlayerDugout helps amateur baseball and softball players keep a profile of their recreational career. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- If you sign up with a username and password: your username and a scrambled version of your password. We can't read your actual password.
- If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple: your name, your email address if the service shares it, and an account ID from that service. We never see your password for those services.
- Technical information: your IP address and basic request details, which we use to run the site and limit repeated login attempts.
How we use it
We use this information to create your account, sign you in, show your profile, and keep the site secure. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you logged in, and a short-lived one to finish Apple sign-in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We use Google Cloud to host the site and store its data. If you choose to sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, that service handles the sign-in under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account information until you ask us to delete it.
To delete your account and its data, including an account created with Google, Facebook, or Apple, email ccorde01@yahoo.com with your username or the name and email on your account.
Children
PlayerDugout isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
